@emotional4747 Same here :) Was making sure I was getting it right, because someone told me I was doing it wrong lol.

@sandrabell0109 That's what I have been saying! I made a video for my friend on how to measure hips and waist, and some guy commented AND messaged me saying that my measurements were wrong. And a lot of females on here measure their hips below the butt, and it's completely wrong. I'm sure if my ass was more lifted tho (workin on it!:P) then the tape would be closer to the bottom of it lol.

you measure the widest part of your lower body.

@mysticxhobo I don't think her booty is all that nice. Average at best.

So it does include your butt. Basically, you measure slightly below your private area. I've gotten so many different measurements. Thanks for sharing.

@7escape (cont.) Also the tape has to be parallel to the ground. Which would again ensure that the one does not make it under the butt or above it.

I didnt know measurement of the hip included your butt.

@7escape It cannot be any other way. I've noticed that many women measure their hips at the place where very slim women have their hip bones kind of sticking out. But that is wrong. The right place is when the one looks in the mirror and sees the widest part (at ALL times located on the top part of the thigh). And naturally if you (at first) stand straight in front of the mirror and find the widest part & then turn any side to the mirror, you'll see that you have to measure the butt ;)
