Here's how to install Ubuntu via USB flash drive on your computer/laptop for those of you who want to get started with compiling Android kernels. You can use stuff like VirtualBox or VMware but runs a lot slower, I highly suggest working directly/natively on a Ubuntu computer/laptop.

how do u have so many wifi options??? mine only has a few and i cant seem to make it show up with diferent networks like yours did. it works fine on windons 7 so idk whats wrong with it

It helped me a lot, I've a 64GB SSD and wanted to install Ubuntu alongside my Windows 7 which is totally rubbish, so want to experience something totally new!

I have a MacBook Pro, but I also like to try out Ubuntu!

By the way, do you recommend to install Windows software like Microsoft Office on Ubuntu! Or just use OpenOffice!

I just took the U3 system off my SanDisk Gator 8gb and now I'm going to use The actual installer to install Ubuntu on my thumb drive an actual drive so I don't have to set a persistence file :P just helping ya guys!

on mine new pcu dont need to do this when u press f12 you get a menue and u can boot from dvd and usb or go in to biso my pc a dell inspiron
