You want to have a BMP or PNG file transparent? When you save the file and open it still have a black background? You'll need a better program, that supports transparency, like Photoshop. You'll have to click and drag the image to a certain folder. Then reopen it in PhotoShop. But that might not be the problem. You might want to add it on another background like JPG or PNG. You'll have to open both pictures in Photoshop and drag the transparent PNG file to the non transparent picture. This way the transparent PNG will keep its quality in a different file format.
Also Internet Explorer doesn't save PNG as transparent. This is why copying the image right off the internet and pasting it in MS Paint will have a black background.

  • i was interested how to save the transparency of the background as a bmp but in the manner u "explained" it didnt understand anything it was like u were just mocking ppl.

  • useless video, too fast, impossible to follow...

  • It did not look like you even showed how to created a png file with transparency. It look more like you working with a cropped images that already was saved. You also should have reviewed your vid before posting to avoid all those crazy miss spellings and like other said, jumping all over the place. I am not a hater either. It was hard to follow and in the end did not serve the purpose the title had intended.

  • what a piece of shit tutorial!!!

  • its kinda fast for starters u know ..

  • I wanted to know how to create one .. not crop an already existing one :(

  • bad tutorial ... not a hater , only fact . turotials are done in step by step not all jumbbled up and many crazy mouse action ... only robots could follow this ...

  • JPGs are mostly used in websites.

  • I have a picture of a red ball with a white background, and it is a PNG file. Then, I tried to edit with MSpaint, then the background is black and not white.

  • what file format is the picture form the internet? .png? because if it's .bmp on the internet i would be very confused... i didn't know you could get .bmp pictures to have transparency.
