Brandon Wegner, a 15 year old student at Shawano High School in Shawano, Wisconsin, has been bullied, censored, punished and held up for ridicule by school officials for writing an op-ed piece in the school's newspaper (The Hawk's Post) that defended mother/father adoption. His article was printed as a counterpoint to an article defending the pro-homosexual viewpoint of another student, Maddie Marquardt.

Are you kidding me? He was not attacked...No one seems too get the point here. He attacked and bullied many gay families in the district. I was the one who read this article, and got it national... I am the son of a gay man and i'm proud of it. I can not believe it we are in the 21st century and people are still ignorant about this kind of stuff.
