Elec­tronic de­vices and noise: Björn Ny­berg His­to­rical note: In Sep­tember 2009, the Bra­zi­lian clas­sical ac­coustic/elec­tric gui­ta­rist and com­poser Fre­de­rick Car­rilho vi­sited the jazz flu­tist Simon Jensen in his home in Gothen­burg, Sweden. Two weeks of jam ses­sions, mu­sical stu­dies and in­tense dis­cus­sions fol­lowed, and a lot of ex­pe­ri­ments were car­ried out. Two days be­fore Fre­de­rick had to leave for his next stop, con­certs and workshops in Po­land, the duo be­came a trio to­gether with the pro­ducer and elec­tronic mu­si­cian Björn Ny­berg. Four tunes were re­corded on an af­ter­noon in Björns studio in Gothen­burg and du­ring the days that fol­lowed he did his magic and pro­duced some very in­te­res­ting music.
