@newdimensionfilms Oh i bet i know why, now that I think about it. They may not meet US emissions standards, and may also not meet some safety standards.
They're big, tough as nails vehicles made for extremely tough conditions. But that means they may fail some US tests. (They're sure not that great to drive around a city, i can promise you!) But for a long journey on dirt or no road, they're perfect.

@wescobts thats right, 2010 models are exactly the same, the only electronic component in the car is the stereo (if equipped)
