@donglabong....in America, pudding refers to a flavored custard. I guess in this case banana?
Cool Whip is a disgusting-white trash version of whipped cream that is made from edible oil product....yes, that's correct. Oil, as in a petrol by-product.
@ bbqtv.....Calling something a "recipe" when it comes from a box is misleading, and a waste of people's time. Perhaps you should have called it "How to build an Easy Banana Trifle" That would have been more accurate.

first place passing off stuff you bought premixed at a store and assembled... basically just mixing stuff together, not making anything, not 'scratch cooking' .... one wonders what the losers tried to make? Store bought cake with tinned sliced peaches on? a mars bar on a cocktail stick?
what even is "pudding" ... or "cool whip"?
"only in America!"

And for those who wants the crunch from the cookie, I will advise to reserve some and add them to the top right before serving. I crumbled a few on mine, but its optional, either way the recipe is good..

I made this for a friend's get together and it was a major hit! The batter was thick and creamy and the cookies soft like a moist vanilla cake.. It was so so delicious. I wouldn't change a thing. Thanks for this tasty recipe.

also, i sprinkle fresh lemon juice over my bananas to keep them from turning brown. You will NOT tasted the lemon, it will just enhance the flavors when they marry together.
