NICK'S POV

"NNIIICCCKKKYY!" Regina screamed from across the hall way. Everyone stared as Regina ran up to me and embraced me with a hug. She squeezed me tight as I took her off her feet, spinning her around.
"You're ok, right?" She managed to get out after she finally stopped giggling.
"Good as new. So you do-"
"Oh I swear on my f*cking life that I'm going to kick Kyle's ass!" With that Kyle walked by, and laughed at Regina's threat and winked at me. Ah! I wish I could've knocked him out.
"No, please don't, I don't want anyone else in the hospital," I begged, pulling her back as she was about to go up to Kyle.
"Pssh, when I'm done with him, he's going to be the one knocked out with a broken ass in the hospital," I rolled my eyes at her,"So what was the fight for anyway? What happened?" Should I tell her now? No, everyone person in the hall was listening. Of course they would all like to know, more rumors to spread around.
"I'll tell you in History. You have your phone, right?" Regina nodded,"Great, I'll text you. There's no way we can get caught with that old fart of a teacher," She sighed.
"Ok, but I need the full on story, not a piece of crap quarter of a lie. Ok?" I smiled at her and nodded my head.
"Well here comes your super cool friends," Regina said sarcastically as Tyler and his friend Justin were walking towards me,"I better go anyway. See you at lunch," Waving, she skipped down the hallway to a group of girls who were all smiling, laughing and pointing at me. Weird right? I awkwardly grinned and waved, then laughed as one of the girls screamed.
"Oh, here's our chick magnet. How's your head, stupid?" Tyler smirked.
"It's ok, Kyle didn't hit it too hard,"
"I wasn't talking about that, I meant how screwed up was your head when you decided to fight that freaking boulder?" Of course Tyler was the one to not care if I got hurt, only wanting to know how crazy I was. But that was the story of guys. Fighting was normal and wasn't that big of a deal as long as no one got too hurt.
"He was talking crap about Laila and . .I don't know. He just pissed me off," Tyler rolled his eyes at me. To him I was idiotic either way. Oh well, it was true.
"You can't listen to all that garbage that comes out of Kyle's mouth. He lies, that's just how he is." Justin commented. He was blonde, skater boy kind of hair and green eyes. Probably about the same height as me. I liked Justin, he was a real good guy and friend. He didn't cuss at all, got the best grades, and was nice to about everyone.
"Whatever. So you guys going to walk with me to class?"
"Sure thing, Nick. Now c'mon before were late, The last thing I need is three detentions in the first week of school," I laughed at Tyler. He definitely was a not a model student. Though he was actually smart, he didn't show it. He always goofed off and talked in class.
So it is . . .4th period. Good. Only two more periods until lunch and then I can talk to Laila. That was the highlight of my day, she's what I go to school for. And it was nice too. I wasn't one of those guys who was in love with a girl he had never talked too. Laila was my best friend, and as long as she's my friend, I'm happy.

Aww, Nick is so sweet. But will Nick and Laila always remain as, 'just friends'?
Are Tyler and Justin really the good guys? Maybe they have a different motivation to being Nick's friend?
Haha, looks like lots of girls are head over heels for Nick. Is Nick going to ever get a girlfriend that's not Laila?
OH and what's going to happen with Laila at lunch? Did Jared ever get the chance to ask her out? Did Laila and Kyle have some kind of previous relationship?
