Turn on your speaker, set the volume up, enjoy the show!

Amazed by the trailer of Inception, I decided to make one of my own with its music, about the architectural design I just done. All the building scenes are modeled and animated in Revit architecture, the title scenes are made in 3dsmax. You may not be able to understand the design completely, but you will have the basic impression about this project for sure.

Ps, I think inception is a great movie, but its trailer is the greatest. Hans Zimmer really shocks his audiences' souls.

  • how long did this take you? its awsome

  • @kingsaf90

I had been designing and modeling the building for a whole semester of 2011 spring, and the animation was done within one week before the final review.

  • Very impressive mate. I mean both, the project and presentation. I wish i could see some more of your work. Was this some sort of final project for your school???

  • @kikeman78

Thanks mate! I am doing another one for the fall semester project, hopefully I will be able to post it online in a few days. This is not a final project, it was a studio project for my 2011 spring semester.

  • Stunning work friend. did you model the building as well?

  • @ashutoshmukherjee

Thanks! Yes, I designed it, modeled it, and animated it.

  • @TheTruegarden okay sounds easy, thanks man

Thanks! I didn't use any other program to do the animation of the building, it all has been done in Revit. The color of walls, I think you can easily find your ways to manipulate them in the material property window; changing trees' color could be a little bit tricky, because normally you cannot touch it in revit, but you can open the tree as a family, then make a material parametric set, which allows you to change trees color in the project.

  • that was awesome, defiantly inspired me for my ba3 final project nxt yr :)
