Obviously he changed the guitar to play bossa nova in the right manner, without steel strings.

The gibson sounds way better. A more full tone. It's a little thin here. But he's still playing great.

You're right, it is an Ibanez. Amazing, but the tone is still there, he's own. All the other videos I've seen he plays the same (wonderful) Gibson.
