  • Holy crap, I used to have an 85 Corolla GTS with the 4a-ge engine, that thing was a sewing machine on speed. With the high torque range (usually shifting at 7800rpm) I thought I should have a bit more power, did a compression test and averaged 100psi. What a great designed engine though so easy to work with, and a very predictable car for driving, no wonder it's been in video games.

  • NICE CAR DUDE, i really wana turbo my ae86

  • What?! There is one of these in Winnipeg!? And no one told me?!

  • that turbo looks too big. when does it hit boost?

  • actually i'll be runnign 15 psi outa gt35 on my 20v. and makign probably around350hp. since i'm using E85. and soem 11.0 CR. .. people focux to much on PSI since the release of fast n furious it's all abotu how much psi we can push. ooooo. watch out i got 1000000 psi in my butt. cmon. you 2 know what your talkign about so why focus on the negs.. add to the pos on this.. RZ know's whats up since he's done his work. T8. i have no idea what your talking about.

  • its using a garrett gt2860? or 1 of the other gt28XX turbos which would give around 260hp at about 22-24psi and would die out around 6500-7000rpm

  • yes but if ur using a smaller turbo then it has a limit to what boost you can run and anything after that it wont give you any power gain and if u go over by wuite abit then ul blow the turbo up. like a t28 from a gtir can give you max 23-24psi but it wont make much difference from 18psi to 24psi. i am currently using a ht18s2 rx7 turbo and am at 260kw on 23 psi.

  • your right buddy this guy is trying to fool a caveman that his running 30psi
