Yes, Catholics are right. According to Michael Coren anyways. He says he wants to set the record straight: there is apparently little worse in modern, Western society than being a devout Roman Catholic. And he's tired of apologizing for his faith. Michael Coren sits down with Steve Paikin.

  • @Yeshivah12 Oh come on, it's all absurdity in degrees. Mormonism is one of the worst, because it's Christianity + an obvious recent fraud. Then you get Christianity which is absurd, and finally we get to YOUR religion which is also absurd, with talking snakes, a world created in seven days, and a genocidal god who tells people to kill their kids as a goof.

So really, don't comment on how some other religion is silly. Just be quiet and hope you don't get noticed.

  • @5355vbxjbj76rvn I must say, as a Jew, the whole idea is quite baffling to me.

You will say that "G-d the Father" alone won't forgive your repentance, He "need" the sacrifice of Jesus. But Jesus alone is not enough, you need Mary, whom he loves especially, to "soften him up". But she's not enough, you might as well throw in every good Catholic who went to heaven. But they're not enough, you need living Catholics.

We Jews just pray to G-d, since we think He's "good enough".

"I was appalled that they pray to saints to ask Him to help us"

    ## If I asked you for help, how would that be any better :) ? You are not God, any more than the Saints are - yet for some reason (which I don't understand) Christians who make your objection see no problem with the idea that human beings can help one another. You ask sinners for help - yet criticise us for asking the help of God's holy servants who are united with Him in Christ & can do all things in Christ alone.

  • "Why Catholics Are Right" is *entirely* the wrong emphasis.
