You're not alone, my friend. I had to learn bass on my own since reading music and theory is tough, or get anyone to teach me. But once I learned afew songs, I was playing like a pro, even writing afew licks! I've found you just gotta learn at your own pace. This is a hard song to do, even for a beginner. My first song was "With or Without You" by U2. Oh dear!
