The Airedale terrier was first bred to chase down otters along the Aire River in the U.K. In following years, the breed expanded its hunting abilities to include wild cats and big game. They made excellent warriors and rescue dogs during the World Wars.

Great dogs, I love Airedales. They really are versatile dogs. In Europe they've been used as police dogs and they make great rescue dogs. Mostly, they are just great family pets that are fun to be around. Not too big, not too small, perfect size for most homes.

@DashingBlast In Holland the price of a healthy, pure& well bred ADT will be max 1000 euro's. Tails are no longer docked.
