That's a big excavator.
Excellent recovery. Good job. Lot's of experience and patience from both operators. Those are the men to be working with.

A d11 puts 23.5 psi on the ground. A d6 lgp only puts 4 -5 psi. If you are running in deep mud (I ran in muskeg in N. Canada) it is VERY easy to get the larger machines stuck. A loader or excavator can use the bucket to pull or push themselves out- on a dozer after it sinks a foot and a half the weight is resting on the body and the tracks spin. Watch a video of them working- you load the blade and the tracks spin on the ground. In mud this will sink you.

@reidponiesc4 very heavy machine. It doesnt matter how "big" the machine is if the ground is too wet to be in it.
