West Roxbury Rocks 2012

On Saturday, March 24, 2012, Jamaica Plain-based elder services non-profit Ethos, celebrated the 5th anniversary of its AgeWell healthy aging initiative. The anniversary celebration, "West Roxbury Rocks," was held at the Irish Social Club of Boston and featured food, music and dancing, with proceeds going to the continued delivery of healthy aging services to seniors in southwest Boston.

AgeWell is a pilot initiative of Ethos that supports the well-being of elderly and disabled persons in southwest Boston. The program helps seniors "age in place" and offers vital support to their caregivers. Free or low cost educational workshops, exercise and balance programs and social events are offered, through AgeWell, for little or no cost to seniors.
