Man, only if we could get Bernanke to agree to debate Dr. Paul on the whole federal reserve system, the gold standard and keynesian vs austrian economics...
That woud be worth paying for

lolwhat? Hostage movements? Fugitive movements? Wtf is this nitwit talking about?
-
Well banking in itself can be a blessing or a curse. It becomes a curse when government cartelizes the banking industry and uses its power to force people to give up their property in exchange for paper and makes central bank notes legal tender.

The level of thinking shown by comments such as "Partee is a boring speaker therefore he must be wrong" is very shallow. He is discussion a number of practical problems about a gold standard - you will never get a gold standard again unless you think about these problems and do something to overcome them.

wake me when hes finished and the debate begins

Does anyone know the exact date in 1983 this was filemed?

The way Patree speaks just makes me dizzy. That's how he got where he is: boring people to death. Gold backup, the best way to go,
-
He says "Im not as well spoken as Ron". Reason: Because typically when people are full of shit, and they know they are full of shit, it causes an insecure feeling, which exhibits openly. Need proof, rewatch this tub o lard speek, then watch RP, Rp knows he is speaking truthfully.

Hasn't it been proven now that this global economy doesn't work?
-
listed? lol, i don't even know what you're talking about
He said that the price of gold was $383.00 an ounce. That was in 1983.
Today the price of an ounce of gold has been fluctuating from $260 to about $900 an ounce.
The fact that the majority of Americans laugh at Paul when he talks about a gold standard actually blows my friggin mind.

and, ahh, and ahh, i recomend, ahh, that, and ahh...................a true banker explaining this or my mortgage or a loan request! Did they learn how to speak like this in school or is it genetic? Death to the bankers, roast them on a stick and serve them for dinner
