....It's easy to control a lightly loaded 9mm, much different than a full house .40 or .45. That is why the U.S.military went with the 9mm, cheap and easy to shoot, rather than significant knock down energy.

I practice these tips and they do help a lot. I lock my primary arm about 90% extended on instinct just because i practiced that way so often. I notice that i will tilt my head down to the right a bit since i am right handed and left eye dominant. I also rest my thumb on top of the thumb safety. I noticed if i have a da/sa pistol and rest my thumb under the thumb safety (frame mounted), i tend to accidently bump the safety back up after recoil. I hate da/sa pistols with frame mounted safety. @RyszardOHucki If you see what NickGuilford said, you'll see that I was clarifying the caliber. The x-5 competition is CHAMBERED in 40 S&W. It's quite obviously an X-5.
