Glock 17 fired first and Glock 32 second. The .357 sig has a bit more recoil than the 9mm but is definitely manageable with practice. The report is louder with much more bass. Overall, the .357 sig is a great cartridge offering 160 ft/sec more velocity with 10 more grains than the 9mm in Winchester white box.

  • I was bet it was allot cheaper to fire that 9mm !

  • love the 357sig 4 selfdefense but if you want a gun for self defense & a gun that you r gonna take to the range alot and shoot go with the 9mm. The .357 sig rnd has 40,000PSI that is alot a .45 only has 21,000PSI. So .357sig rnds are very hard on a gun & The guns themselves will wear out alot faster then the 9mm will. So if ur gonna be shooting a couple thausand rnds thru it a year the 9mm is a better bet. but if u have the cash 4 both the .357sig is pretty much the definitive self defense rnd

  • i actually have to agree..i dont think glock would over look the fact that this round could accerlrate wear on frame..having seid that..its a fucking glock still a dam fine gun

  • Quit riding that slide down. Sling-shot it, man. It's a bad habit, and it'll bite you.

  • @July41776 My G31 has over ten thousand rounds through it. Everything except for the recoil spring, is completely factory. I can still keyhole my groups at twenty meters.

  • .40 for self defense most stopping power. best 9mm is as powerful as normal .357 round.

  • I owned a glock 32 for about seven years.I didnt shoot it that much but I could definitely notice the difference in slide to frame play before I sold it.I believe the average psi for that round is 36K.So go figure JULY.What happened to the 10mm?How many people actually own them know?

  • @arkangel8419 Post data that you have on psi load of cartridges versus lifetime of the frame of the glock 32. Put some numbers up here besides "I think" and "I feel." Glock designed the 32 to shoot .357sig, if you have evidence that their frames will fail before x rounds then cite it and post. OTHERWISE SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU CUNT BITCH!!!!!!

  • @July41776 um r you fucking stupid?do u know anything about firearms? i doubt it your just a moms basement livin 30 year old troller. the more pressure a bullet exits a firearm with the more strain it will put on the weapon.PERIOD.WHY DO YOU THINK GUNS CAN ONLY FIRE SO MANY ROUNDS B4 THE WARRANTY IS GONE AND WITH HIGH PRESSURE GUNS THE BARREL AND A TON OF OTHER STUFF. SO DNT TRY TO TALK TO ME LIKE U KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT A SUBJECT U FUCKIN LITTLE PUSSY. READ A GUN smith MANUAL AND THEN EAT A DICK.

  • @arkangel8419 There is no evidence of this. Your just talking. Stop talking when you don't have evidence. There is differences in pressures, but that doesn't mean those differences will have any effect on the frame of the gun.

  • The 357 Sig and 40 S&W are both hi-pressure rounds with the 357 being slightly hotter. both calibers will damage a gun {If not Beefed up for it!} in time. The barrel thikness on the 357 Glock is thicker than the 40 in a Glock. However, early 40 caliber guns had accelerated wear problems as well due to the Hi pressure. Both cartridges are about equal with the 357 having the slight edge in speed, the 40 in weight. Which would I rather get hit with, NEITHER !

  • @arkangel8419 I bought a .40 caliber pistol and a .357 Sig barrel to go with it. I shoot .40 cal at the range and then put the .357 barrel back in for nightstand duty. Works out quite nicely.
