@LuckyBambooExpert Also, lucky bamboo releases mild toxins into the water when leaves fall off, or when newly cut. Depending on the circumstances, that can sicken or kill your fish. I lost a few African dwarf frogs that way.

alright i rescued a lucky bamboo plant from my dad's office. poor lil guy. its not dead, but the tips of the leaves were dead so i properly trimmed them off. but its been almost a year with no growth. i changed the "planter" u know the thing the plant and the water in. i need something for this lil guy. named him okina lolz. any way. it is lucky bamboo, what fertalizer (sp) should i get and could u maybe give me a link?! i dnt want him to die!!!!

Have you seen the "Green Green" brand fertilizer tubes? Have many drops of that should you use and how often?

i think it's fine, just make sure leaves are above the water line and if you ever medicate the tank, be sure to remove the bamboo from the tank because it may be harmful to it.
i've had bamboo in my tank and it started yellowing a bit from all the times i left it in the tank during medicating

Hey Jacob, my Lucky Bamboo grew new stocks at the very bottom close to the roots, and they're fairly long. Could I cut these growths off of the main stock without causing any damage to the plant? If so, should I cut the bottom of the main stock after cutting the growths off of it along with the roots? Sorry for all these questions but it seems you're the only person offering precise info and helpful tips on how to care for a Lucky Bamboo. Thanks for the videos, you're a true "LuckySaver" :P

I've never heard of such a thing, but the best thing to do would be to let the shoots grow out. Cutting the growths off could lead to infection since they are growing right at the base of the plant.

can the bamboo be use for say
a fish tank?

You can but they will eventually rot because lucky bamboo is not an aquatic plant. They would do good in a terraquarium. But not a aquarium.
