Susan Fernandez sang two songs at the launch of "UG An Underground Tale" in Sept. 2006 at National Book Store, Quezon Avenue. One was "Kundiman ni Abdon," and the other was "Madaling Araw."
She was going to sing just one song, but my sister, Nymia, the emcee, asked her to sing another one. Susan later told me that one of Edjop's sisters told her that "Madaling Araw" had been one of their favorites when they were children, and it made her feel even more nostalgic about Edjop.
"Haay, it's really wonderful to touch lives this way," Susan told me.
Unfortunately, only a portion of her second song was recorded. But still worth sharing...
