Here's a quick legs workout I threw together to jump start myself during all the holiday feasting. Needed to kick myself in the butt a bit, so I decided to workout at the beach in the early morning. It was cold and the sand made my feet numb, but here goes!

As always, the goals we are trying to attain are speed, explosiveness, and anaerobic endurance.

Warm-up Jog
Quick Stretch
Air Squats x 50
Quick Stretch
Lunges (x20 out, x10 back + sprint)
Lunges (x20 out, x10 back + sprint) - Round 2
Quick Stretch
Frog Jumps (x20 out, x10 back + sprint)
Frog Jumps (x20 out, x10 back + sprint) - Round 2
Quick Stretch
Cool-down Single Leg Balances (various positions) - Right Leg
Cool-down Single Leg Balances (various positions) - Left Leg

This took me about 30 minutes, with some short rest breaks where necessary. I don't recommend doing this out in the cold though, but you can have at it if you like.

Please feel free to change this workout to add, remove, modify exercises as you see fit. Hope you get some ideas for your workouts from this. Good luck!

  • @ngstylez Thanks mate!

  • @MaghoxFr Nice! The part of the beach I was on, the sand is not super mushy. I bet sand dunes would be super tough.

  • @MaghoxFr Hey, thanks. I hope you have a warmer beach than I do. :) Good luck and have fun!

  • I plan to do some dunes as well, some sprints up and down.
