  • He rather likes dedicated stance of classical musicians. Still can not get the real mean of the improvisational musics. Thinks making his own program is the way to getting closer to making his own music, at the same time things like beautiful melodies are very important, cannot expect the right way to having them together.

  • He wants to surprise by himself when he makes music, then let computers chose sound tone and enjoy listening into it. Ideally he wants them to compose more complicated musics by themselves rather than randomly compose prepared materials. He asked to do it to about 10 of classical musicians but they refuses. When he asked same thing to jazz or rock musicians, they plays music along to the codes or scales in their memory and feeling themselves as they are doing right, but he feels it suspicious.

  • First he is talking about programs he uses, he likes direct visual feelings of MAX a lot. Shows infinite delay parts which he record into HD and uses as same way as scratch. He is feeling questionable about the sound which wholly composed by digital, uses pc as simulation then use analogue synth and tapes for the final output.

  • Can please someone translate this??? The link of the dude who said he translated does not work... :(

  • He says Max/Msp & Logic.

  • pretty sure it's Max. this is from 2000 back before it was max/msp or before it was as polished as it is now. it seems to just be running some kind of sequenced granulizer with a sample running through it.

  • looks like pure data.

  • looks like Max/Msp.

  • I wonder what software he was using.

  • lovely
