We went on a family trip to Tanzania and recorded this video of army ants (black) attacking the termites (white).

  • Yo thanks for upload. To be precise,these ants are called "Matebele ants",not army ants. They are commonly found in sub-Sahara Africa,and they specialize in hunting termites.They are named as such because the way they march to hunt termites looked like Matabele warriors(Matabele is South African tribe which existed in Africa). I once lived in Africa and saw these ants too. They're amazing,an inch long ants with deadly sting marching on to hunt termites!
