http://www.volksculture.com - Starting from Austria, Leon is on an amazing trip around areas of Europe, the Middle East and Australia. His vehicle is an ex Austrian army Volkswagen T3 Synchro hi-top. I caught up with him in Sydney (he had traveled 48,000km at the time). He gave me a few videos to post up, this being the first. He did well to make it past this road. It was the wet season and the road was closed - no other cars around if he got stuck.

More photos/video of this great vehicle at http://www.volksculture.com.

  • @DieuGodDios UAZ?!...Nepal....by teleportation, not by weels)))

  • UAZ is better!!!

  • try that with a Ford F150 and You'd be fucked :D

  • Super :-)

  • It is the common problem with t3 syncro in mud or sand. the car drives allways "up the hill", cause the front wheels just get the power to late , when the back is deeply grabed into the road. You don't have lockers or didn`t used them will passing this roadpart, or? Since i have lockers the problem is gone. The part was very well driven, by the way:-)

  • Fantastic, I love Nepal and I would love to make this trip in my syncro and then go to Tibet. Good luck with you journey Leon.

  • junge, des war stoak! super blog übrigens!

  • Leon, du bist der Leiwandste!

  • Da fährt einer, der weiß wie es geht! Daumen HOCH!
