I think Mariah has a wonderful facility for her whistle register, and when she first came out, she had a much more powerful, clear belt, but it always kinda sounds pitchy and flat and like she is pushing it. It doesn't truly just come out the way it did with Whitney. I am not going to compare singers at all, just saying she is not a natural belter and the ad libbing just sounds a little too choppy.... Guys don't bum rush me now ok, I have been listening to Mariah since her first album.

@NarutoSasukeLegends Her normal, "throat" voice is very airy. It wasn't always like that, though. But her belting voice is on a whole other level. I don't really like Celine's voice, I'm not saying she's bad, but her voice just irritates me. I guess at the end of the day it's all about who you prefer. Whitney was *really* good in her prime, though, better than Mariah. Celine, I don't listen to her all that much, so I can't honestly rank her.

I HATE when people say that some of Mariah's best live performances are lip-synced!! You are either deaf, stupid, ignorant, hating, etc!! You shouldn't say that this isn't LIVE unless you KNOW for sure. Only a true lamb can tell this is 100% LIVE! Go and listen to the studio version a couple times and come open your ears!!!!
