Diplomacy's version of Earl King's 'Big Chief', set to pictures of the Mardi Gras Indians in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Formed in 2005 Diplomacy is a London based 8 piece band. They play an eclectic mix of original soul, blues and jazz with elements of funk, afro-jazz, afro-cuban, rhythmnblues and rocknroll thrown in.

  • the lady in pink at 0:15 is queen rita of the wild magnolias, the family at 0:50 are the apache hunters, the man in pink at 1:12 is chief monk boudreau of the golden eagles, the little boy with him is winky. at 1:47 we have gerrard dollis, son of bo dollis of the wild magnolias.

    nice take on big chief, you guys. the flute is really nice. come and see us real soon.
