@tocard3 yeah, i know that. I was speaking from a literary standpoint, sorry the mixup.

@janeyrevanescence12 Sorry to sound like a jerk, but it's common comic knowledge that Joe Chill was the one that murdered Martha and Thomas Wayne. Pre-Crisis, Batman even confronted Chill about this, revealing his secret identity to him.

@Riddler95 Yeah, when I was growing up I always thought that Joker murdered Bruce's parents because of this movie. Imagine my surprise when I found out that this wasn't the original canon. Also, naming the Joker is really strange to me. I think that it's important that the Joker's identity remain a secret. It sort of gives meaning to the secret identity of the Hero.

@Riddler95 It made the conflict between the Joker and Batman more interesting in my opinion

@Riddler95 I agree because in that case, he doesn't have a need for Batman anymore. In classic 'son seeks revenge on the murderer' storyline, the story ends when he mets out justice on the killer. The whole thing with the Wayne murders is that it's unsolved and Batman is metaphorically seeking out the one who killed his parents. (sorry, hardcore comic geek here).
But it's still an awesome movie.

@Omniverse77 "How many of your friends have I killed?" "Six" "Six :O "

@MrBassem95 the joker in the movie.

@shawnajeinga joe chill
It was definitely a great movie, but I dislike the fact that they changed it to having
The Joker/Jack Naiper as the one who killed Bruce Wayne's Parents. I guess they did that to make the story more serious and dark.
