I am a drummer so of course I'm going to be critical of the drummer. I think he is an amazing player, but besides the beginning and end where he is on the hi hat, he is on that same ride cymbal through the rest of the song. He needed to change it up. Other than that I think it was great.

Yeah, that's cool. What I've done is to hold a pedal F with the piano part at the end. More fun for the audience, that's what I always say.

I remember playing this when I was a member of "Jazz from Virginia Tech"...I took the very last note in the trombone solo up an octave if memory serves...a real fun chart!

We are playing this song in Stage band (jazz band below CJB) CJB has moved far more advanced over the years that they give these songs to our jazz band. Fun song.

This trombone player is the current Young Artist of the Year in Nebraska. The drummer is attending the Berklee School of Music in Boston. The pianist is playing with Mannheim Steamroller. I think CJB is fine this year, but your comment is naive. The music is about the same.
