Here is a promotional video about a sponsorship program that was in effect at Lake Oswego High School. The program allowed students and adults alike to sponsor a group of high school students on their workday at the White Wolf Sanctuary, where previously abused endangered Arctic Wolves are given a sanctuary in which they can live out the rest of their lives in comfort and safety.

UPDATE: Our sponsorship program ended along with the school year. We raised over $1000 dollars for the White Wolf Sanctuary and had a great experience helping out.

Check out our other video of the workday and close ups of the pups and tell us what you think: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s3YliV-5MGc&mode=related&search=

Thanks so much to everyone who has watched and/or commented! If you want to donate, visit www.whitewolfsanctuary.com and contact them by phone.

  • WOLVES DON'T DESERVE TO BE HUNTED DOWN. NO PREDATOR DOES IF THEY ARE IN THEIR NATIVE LANDS.

  • @NativePrairieWolf

Hun you were the one who started the hate and cursing first. But I suppose you forgot that. I haven't lost any argument. As I've said before your head is rammed too far up your ass to see anything from a different point of view.

Your 'facts' mean next to nothing. They are poor and one sided and I have no reason to address them.

You can go to fake supplemental but they are NOT as healthy as eating actual meat. Have fun taking on the meat industry dumb ass.

  • Type of food Quantity providing 10g protein (g) Soya flour 24 Peanuts 39 Pumpkin seeds 41 Almonds 47 Brazil Nuts 50 Sunflower seeds 51 Sesame seeds 55 Hazel Nuts 71 Wholemeal bread 95 Whole lentils dried & boiled 114 Chickpeas dried & boiled 119 Kidney beans dried & boiled 119 Wholemeal spaghetti boiled 213 Brown rice boiled 385 An adult man 19-50 yrs only requires 55.5 (g/day) protein. As you can see from the list above getting that 55 grams is quite easy on a plant based diet.
  • FACTS about meat

Do humans need meat protein to be healthy?

Meat supplies all 8 amino acids. Most plant based sources of protein are said to be incomplete, supplying only a few of the 8 essential aminos. However, soy contains all 8 essential aminos. If vegetarians vary the food they eat, there is absolutely no problem getting all the protein they need

Protein doesn't have to be an animal source. There are so many readily available plant based protein sources.

  • There were even people who captured wolves, allowed them to breed in confinement pens, and later turned in the litter of puppies for the bounty. Fed paid hunters left a few "breeders" in various areas so they could guarantee work for themselves the following year

Losses were vastly inflated by the ind, subsidies, payments for loss and mass wildlife control paid for by taxpayers wasnt enough for them, they expected ZERO losses. No other ind every got so much out of so many suckers for so long.

  • cont:

For these massive mass poisoning and killing programs. depts charge with PROTECTING wildlife were instead KILLING them for the livestock industry.

Wolf bounties put in place in almost every state were soon riddled with MASSIVE fraud, some states only req the ears as proof, as a result DOGS were killed and ears presented as "wolves" for the bounty, wolves' ears turned in in one state wound up being turned in another state for ITS bountry- double payments.

Coyotes were turned in as "wolves"

  • 4) Meat/stockmen, wool growing industries are what brought about MASSIVE nationwide poisoning campaigns, hundreds of thousands of extremely toxic baits were spread over the land like candy to KILL EVERY wild animal even THOUGHT to be a "threat" to livestock interests, steel leg traps and guns were also used, this was even done in YS national PARK especially to increase GAME animals for HUNTERS to kill.

The acceptable losses for these industries was: ZERO, thus the taxpayers footed the bills

  • Ok, and now that triippyx has gone off the deep end into a lunatic curse filled rant rampage, I will address some issues.

    1) Meat is not required in diets by humans, it is only one FORM of supplied protein.

    2) The meat/livestock industry have a PROVEN track record of cutting every corner there is to max profits- including health and safety as well as animal care laws.

    3) Meat has caused a horrific toll on all wildlife nation-wide & at an enormous public cost to all taxpayers.

  • @triippyx I see you STILL resort to your hate, curse filled rants and raves, it just proves you LOST the argument and cant even hold a rational conversation without the use of "dumb twat" "fuck" "asshole" "ignorant cunt" and your plethora of other useless words that prove you lost your case.

Thanks for um "participating" better get off that white powder you are "triipp-ing" on, I'm done with your idiocy LOL

  • @NativePrairieWolf

Bears are hunted you dumb twat, just as coyotes and cougars. Wolves are doing fine and thriving, they NEED to be hunted just as other predatory animals do. Me using curse words does not mean anything. I tried being civil with you yet you have your head rammed too far up your ass to see.

You will never stop hunting, you will never stop people from eating meat. You won't take down the meat industry. Kindly go fuck yourself and leave me be, you ignorant cunt.
