@beatsandthings Not at all dude. In fact this is what he meant by saying you should alternate between the german and french grip when playing fast single strokes. The french grip utilizes the fingers rather than the wrist for power and speed, so you've pretty much got it dude.

@Wosadude123 no. not trolling. i can see what you mean by the "finger technique" being awkward, but any drummer will know jojo mayers name so if a drummer saw "jojo mayer" followed by "finger technique" they would know its about a drum technique, not him showing how to pleasure girls. anyway, what are you doing on youtube looking for fingering lessons?
