Shel Silverstein Cover: February Snow

Ultra-rare Shel Silverstein song.
Calling all Silverstein-fans:
Do anyone know this song? -- Then please tell me from where and how get near it..
As far as I can research, Shel himself never recorded it -- nor did anyone else.
It appeared in a black & white documentary made by the only TV-station then in Denmark in the start of the 80´ties. The host of the program was visiting Shel on a houseboat in Sausalito, San Fransisco.
At some point "Dr. Hook & The Medicine Show" visited, made fun and sang along on a couple of songs.
But this one "February Snow" Shel sang and played alone on his guitar.
This video I made is played and sung by one of my friends, who translated it into Danish and recorded it "sound-on-sound" on an old reel-to-reel tape recorder, which explains the sound.
To my pleasure I just found a copy on a Cassette-tape in my attick.
I have put the original lyrics on the video to fit as best as possible.
One of us must have recorded it on Betamax back then, since we were able to write down the lyrics and remember the song.

you can find this song an album by BOBBY BARE. the album is called BARE, and is from the eighties.

Dr. hook did this in english on their US only impossible to find an original (bootlegs can be found) album from 1976 "Fried Face" shel wrote songs for them, but this doesnt sound like him.
