This video is to show how Apple/Macintosh are no longer developing new ideas. (other than cover flow)
This is the first of a series of videos i will make about features that Mac has come out with on Leopard that was already supported on Linux, and was there for quite some time.

You do realize that MacOS 9 and down never had a command line. Many programmers made fun of this fact. OS X has a Terminal for the UNIX command line, but you don't need it unless you want to do advance functions or your an open-source person.
By the way where did this come from: "Apple is the biggest copy cat in the industry".

well Linux isn't Unix based so it's not really it's son in anyway. It's more of pen and paper copy or a sculpture of UNIX. Linux is what is considered Unix like, not based.
One more thing, I wasn't responding to you, this:
"Do you know what x window system is? like X11?"
was for vervok

yeaaa but as Linux is Unix's son, which one do you have to pay for? ;)

Mmm unix was a shell nothing virtual desktop

Virtual desktop was created by Xerox in 84, used in UNIX and taken by Linux. Linux also has dual screening created by Apple in 1988.
By the way, I love linux, but nothing in it is original. Just look at your dock(Apple), or the toolbars for your window(Xerox, refined by Apple, concept taken by MS), or the menubar(created by Apple 79-81)

OS X is based on Unix and for some things you need the command line. This is how it is in any OS. Windows XP still has a command line interface. Apple is the biggest copy cat in the industry and they say they "innovate" stuff. They copied MS Windows and Linux.

what program?!
I have had friends who have grown up only knowing Windows and have switched over to Linux and loved it.
The average users needs are met.
