  • hi. do you know if there's any way to prevent losing the clear tone you get on whole tone notes once you go half. because ive been playing for 3 years now and everytime i go half-tone the tone isnt as clear...and i notice it in this video also...do you know if there's any way to prevent that or if its inevitable? thanks

  • yes you can , just balance the air pressure on your reed and move your fingers slowly

  • would be better if he was in tune.. some of his semi-tones are almost the next tone..

you can slide any of the finger forward or upwards depending on whats most comfortable to you.

you can also cross finger as well as half hole at the top and this can be more acurate..

to roland.. same technique for any key

  • This has problaby been asked a thousand times, but can you upload a video on the circular breathing and dam techniques.

  • Very beneficial. How about the same instructions for Bass Duduk in A?

  • Nice upload! Playing the duduk is one of the hardest instruments to master. We hope aspiring young Armenians will get inspired by videos like this, and to pick up a duduk. Thanks for sharing!
