Darius Gaiden is a 2d shoot-em-up released in 1994 by Taito. The game is known for its very fancy graphics, and the over-the-top effects used in the game.
Like other games in the Darius series, Darius Gaiden has a big fish theme.

This replay is taken from the rereleased version, Darius Gaiden Extra. The changes in this version are: Stage order mixed around, autofire at a fast rate, easier to capture Captains, reduced difficulty and a 28 stage route mode added into the game.
