couldnt figure out why this seemed so quick. the gearchanges sound supernatural. then spotted the 'dsg' in the title. that'll be why :D noone is that perfect every gear change, haha. looks rapid though mate, must be fun.

@SecksJay changes up automatically on the red line, change down manual by pulling back on gear lever, didn't use paddle shifters. car currently in bits getting forged pistons/rods :(

1390arosa, thanks for sending me the link but im sorry to tell you that you nailed some westfields and a zero, not a caterham. Yes your car is fast in a straight line... but thats about it... i do hope i see you at coombe this year then you can have a play with a real caterham. Would have been nice to see you catch the orange westfield but it would seem he left you for dust mate????? hahah!!!

@1390arosa it wasnt a bit quicker it destroyed you. ur car is quick yes, you can put in a decent laptime at coombe yes but the track is designed for high speed, come to brands (indy) where raw grip & braking is the key. as i said before caterhams are not rubbish, you just havent been in one you like yet and trust me, if i see a yellow rocket on track i will make sure you come out for a ride just to prove my point :)

@636kwackers that day at Combe was 1st time out with this car, brakes faded on 1st lap so had to use engine to slow down - hence slow corner entry speeds, also no overtaking in corners at Combe held me up. Due to lack of funds its Drag racing only this season :(

@1390arosa thats so awesome. lazy mind, but awesome. the gearchanges are bloody perfect. no wonder it's so quick. admittedly, the engine sounds cracking but the lack of any discernable delay between changes makes it seem almost ridiculous. im sure that the same vehicle with a manual box is noticably slower round combe, as it pays to have seamless changes (due to being such a quick track) if you blew it up through too much boost then thats the way to do it if youre going to!

The speed it was goin round the track it looked like alot more than 220. I saw it in action lovely car an excellent driving fair play
