@shakaama well then maybe you should look at all the american made films out there where women do go around killing people 'randomly' and maybe you will see where the interest is coming from. i don't care if men oustspend women in those games. some women like them, i personally know a lot of them. it's a good way to vent frustration without hurting anyone in the real world. because lets not forget this is a game and its not real. the main character could be a smurf for all i care.

@CharnaLupin i don't know what you're talking about, i play fashionville, dress up barbie, real estate tycoon, etc all lead characters are women.

Why would a woman wan't to play a woman that murders people randomly?  and it also makes no sense for an anglo-american based historical game to have a female lead general.

finally literally, they did a study and 99% of all players, purchasers and fans of RPG/MMO/VIDEO games in general are male. women outspend men in other things. ... SMH.

@shakaama oh for crying out loud i was making a point that its refreshing for the main character to be a woman. im not saying get rid of all the male main characters. and if i can play as a man in every other game out there then men can play as a woman in one or two. im not anti-man but i do resent the fact that its apparently ok to class me as the domesticated type. i hate cleaning, would rather not cook and dont plan on kids any time soon. so why would i want to play a game like that.

@CharnaLupin what's amazing to me is that a chic made the statement that for years "us chics" have had to play men. now of course what you presented is all well and good, but we're talking anglo fantasy to begin with, and secondly, there is a complete feminization of all western culture going on right now. we are literally at war against men: in movies; videos; commercials; books; the news. It is perfectly alright to be anti-man, but you're called horrible if you're anti-woman. and here we are

@shakaama well actually yes Mulan really did go and fight for china. she's not just a disney character. lets not forget the women in the forces nowadays. Boudicca is a famous one. then there's Fu Hao who was a general in the Shang Dinasty and also a wife of the king. The Dahomey people on western Africa have an all female militia. the Roman empire had female gladiators called gladiatrix. Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi lead a rebellion. Unniyarcha from Kerala. Kittur Chennamma from Kittur. and so on!
