Bottles and cans of Rheingold beer march in a stop-motion New York street parade. Some of the bottles play instruments, others carry flags, pull a street organ made of cans of Rheingold. Others yet ride in a Rheingold train across a bridge, and we close with the image of a keg floating through the sky like a blimp.

Well, I finally found this beer jingle. Was watching the Golden Girls sing this jingle. Thanks for bringing it to the web.

My dad's (and nearly everyone else's dad's!) favorite beer :) Had the jingle stuck in my head because of the waltz in Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter movie LOL! Nice to see it's being brewed once again :)

They show this on TV Land for a brief time in the late 90s, that and that one Utica Club beer ad where Schulz the Stein bragged about being owned by Kaiser. They used to air that one a lot during Hogan's Heroes (which also has a German character named Schulz)

I cleverly googled rheingold beer and yes they have a website and seem to be selling it now, including in my state which ain't near the locations mentioned in jingle. I prefer wet beer.

The Rheingold jingle is a medley of Estudiantina, by French-Jewish composer Emile Waldteufel and Sidewalks Of New York, by 2 US songwriters of (I think) Irish descent. Not likely on Hitler's hit parade. Rheingold was the first US brewer to employ minority models in their ads; and sponsored Nat "King" Cole on 1950's TV when other advertisers shied away. So please be careful who you call a Nazi...

Great object animation! (No CGI back then...) But could you find a complete copy without the last 10 seconds chopped off? Even if you can't find picture, the complete jingle can be found on the CD "TV's Greatest Hits: The Commercials."
