Going the Distance

In some parts of the world a doctor, nurse or midwife can be just around the corner, but for many, these health workers can be too far. A coalition of over 300 organisations including White Ribbon Alliance, Merlin, Every Mother Counts and Save the Children, have come together to call for urgent action for more health workers.

We are asking world leaders at the UN General Assembly in New York to act now and close the gap of 3.5 million health workers needed to ensure a health worker is within reach of every mother and child.
