I love this song, I havent seen my dad in years and he sent this to me. There were no other videos on here with lyrics, so I made one. This is my first video, I hope it means as much to you as it does to me.

This song makes my heart melt. I'm supposed to be a tough guy but my dad has been gone for 19 years this November. Seems like yesterday he was here.  People, don't take that relationship for granted. Hug you dad and mom today, I sure wish I could. He was and is my best friend. He was my hero. Tears welling up now but I know what a man he was and it makes me proud to be his son.

I just never really understood the meaning of this song until just now.

Today is my sisters birthday and it makes me think of the way our family still feels with not having dad with us. Sis was a senior in high school and dad was the head football coach and athletic director at the school. How tough was it for her to go back to school after the funeral? Call you mamma and daddy people and offer up your love. If you can actually give them a hug, make it a bear hug and tell them how much you love them.
