BC Audio's Amplifier No. 7 is a hand-made all-tube non-clone guitar amp built inside of US Army surplus .50 caliber ammunition boxes, or ammo cans. Unlike many models offered by "boutique" amp builders, Amplifier No. 7 is not a clone of any particular amp of yesteryear, but a new and original design. Its tones are firmly rooted in classic "tweed" and "plexi" amps, but Amplifier No. 7 possesses its own "voice," one ideally suited to rock and electric blues styles. Proudly made in the USA. www.bcaudio.com

@jimibob68 It uses octal 6SL7 preamp tubes and two 6V6 power tubes with a 5Y3 rectifier for 15w, or two 5881s and a 5AR4/GZ34 for 25w.

Yes, it does clean tones quite well. I've had great feedback from customers about its clean tones, and the magazine reviews have been outstanding with regard to cleans.
