Some quick footage of the Ohio Central 1293 running down the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic. Also included is a scene of a generic CVSR excursion passing by. Enjoy!

  • 1:54-what is that airhorn? A WABCO? Sounded like a tugboat.

  • I have no idea, but the locomotive maintenance crew replaces the horns on their units about every couple days, it has probably had at least 5-6 different horns since this video. Somewhere in the shop, they even have a Nathan K5HL laying around....

  • Is that a U-boat on the back?

  • It is an ALCO C420. :)

  • Another nice Rail Thunder production! Glad you could get some CVSR footage.

  • Thanks. I appreciate it. I was not expecting the standard CVSR train at first. So I suppose it was a treat. :)

  • I was on that train while you filmed it. I got off for the runby and filmed it.

  • whatever was running tail-end first on that train (where 1293 was running backwards)-if that was an SL4T, that's a rare one

  • Were you talking about locomotive 365's horn?

  • Leslie SL4T. It was originally used on the Amtrak SDP40Fs.
