  • And we're waiting here in Allentown.

But they've taken all the coal from the ground

And the union people crawled away.

Every child had a pretty good shot

To get at least as far as their old man got.

Something happened on the way to that place

They threw an American flag in our face, oh oh oh.

Well I'm living here in Allentown

And it's hard to keep a good man down.

But I won't be getting up today.

  • Try listening again. She says "NOT GOOD".

So the fool in this instance would be... let me see... YOU!

  • @Thesouthman WE SAW, HOW THAT WORKED OUT.....Any Republican 2012....

  • Lol @ you. Did you not get enough special "women only" government loans for your business to succeed (apparently so, because you are still in business). And if you think your side of town will be revitalized...keep dreaming...

  • After slowing the clip down and removing the breathy bass of her first word i admit that i was wrong in my comment. She does say "not good" but in such a strange way that i'm not the only one who thought that. I was wrong but not foolish. I was wrong and i apologize.

  • I will say that i might be hearing it wrong. Might.

  • OBAMA '08 !!!!!!!

  • I think that factory would serve the community better as a factory than as yet another upscale mall. I'm not sure how that happens though, without withdrawing from trade agreements and throwing up some proctectionist barriers to protect industry while it gets back on its feet. Many manufacturing jobs have vanished in the last 8 yrs. (3 million?) - coming back as clerks in the Gap and Sears, as cooks in McDonalds, making less money and getting fewer benefits. Sad.

  • Replacing social security with voluntary 401ks, and eliminating the "death" tax for those who inherit more than $5 million is the best way to restore economic prosperity to small towns hurt by loss of industry to Asia, according to John McCain. America's richest citizens cannot afford to invest in America unless their taxes are sharply cut is the idea behind Mccain's economic platform.

  • I thought the same thing but I played it again and she does say not good.

  • Word.
