Montage of Scottish boxing great Ken Buchanan. Buchanan was the undisputed Lightweight champion of the world in the early 70's and fought the best fighters of his era including Roberto Duran, who Buchanan lost to in one of the most controversial fights in modern history. In his career however, Buchanan did beat quality fighters such as Ismael Laguna, Carlos Ortiz, Ruben Navarro, and fellow Scot Jim Watt, who would go on to win the WBC Lightweight title himself 6 years later. In the year 2000, Ken was inducted in Canastota's International Boxing Hall of Fame.

kenny was one of the greatest box fighters but had problems we never saw the best of him he could of and was great but outside problems you cannot fight and manage ken hope your doing good yi0u deserve good fortune

I'm sick of our awesome stuff being ignored by the so-called "British" media.
I don't want to live in a "region" anymore, I want to live in Scotland.
Any genuine Scots on here reply becasue i'm about 70% convinced about which way I'm going to vote at the mo.
