American SOG Teams deploy on a recovery/seige mission, a mission to be known as The Relief of Hill 471. After this battle, Hatchet Force, a squad of elite American soldiers led by Captain Harlan Van Winkle, is sent on an assassination/rescue mission. Along the way, they face many of the grieviences of the Vietnam War.
