This is part 2 (of 2) of my win over Bob Sale (1900) at the Santa Monica Bay Chess Club Quads in September 2007. I was rated 1761 at the time, and this win in round 3 gave me a tie for first place.

p.s. I've written three chess books: "250 Deadly Checkmates," "150 Deadly Opening Traps" & "Chess for Beginners." You can see them/order at: http://www.geocities.com/jeffreyschess and you can check out sample chapters here:

great game and great commentary, please mike, come back to youtube!

  • enjoyed the narration, most presentations have far to many "would be variables" yours was great, im an average to low player but chess is not bias

  • From the U.K. thanks a lot Michael!

  • Very good and informative,

    Thanks Jeffrey

  • SUPA UGLY!!! good vid man!!!

  • Awesome! I learned from this. Excellent presentation.

  • what are you chess engines i can't find any good engine

  • Good video - informative I have faced this opening and played e6 I think Black should proceed with an early c5 and then d6 - a kind of Sicilian (d5 is protected and Nf6 can move away and exchange the Bg5 at the right time.) to prevent the Stonewall.

Well presented and I learnt from it.

  • Nice new video
