Harlistas: An American Journey is an authentic look into Latino motorcycling culture in the United States told through four pivotal stories of real-life characters who proudly call themselves Harlistas -- Harley riders of Latino heritage.

In this first-of-a-kind documentary conceived of, and directed by, Alfredo de Villa, Harlistas: An American Journey celebrates the bond shared between Harlistas and sheds light on their fascinating devotion to the open road, Latino culture, families, and the iconic American motorcycle brand, Harley-Davidson.

From the plains of South Dakota to the Pacific Coast, to the Grand Canyon and as far away as Chihuahua, Mexico, Harlistas: An American Journey is an emotional tribute to Latino culture, the Harlista way of life, and all those who seek adventure, camaraderie and the American Dream

  • This reminds me when my uncle gave a my first ever ride on a motorcycles i was 6 years old and it felt good, the wind hitting your face, the sound and smell of the hot engine.Every time i would go over his house he would give all of us my cousins a ride and i always felt good after a ride even if it was only around the block.Im Mexican from Guadalajara Jalisco and now that im 28 i bought my first harley i went straight to his house and had him drive it from the dealership to the house n loved it!

  • H-D is like love, or hate, it transcends all boundaries and borders. I'm a slav gringo. My old man rode. But it was my one of my Latino brother who sold me my first Hog back in 1970. A 1954 45 Flathead. Yeah it wasn't much but it was mine!!

  • Loved this clip. Reminds me of my old man who used to give me rides in his Harley when I was 5 years old--He sat me in front of him holding onto the handlebars making me believe I was the one driving the bike.I am 55 years old today and I've loved riding every since. This clip strikes a chord with a lot of us. Thanks Harley!
