Mamod SR1 Model Steam Roller

Real steam power! This is the Cawley family heirloom, past down from uncle-Frank to my father Gerry, then on to myself and my younger brother joe, its definitely a boys-toy! Its a Mamod Steam Roller, a SR1 model I believe. Restored a little with just a few new parts; a new safety valve on the top of the boiler, a new fuel-tray and a new band for the wheel. Its working the best I've seen it in a long while.

Nice hand held action shots. The oldies are the goodies. The reverse on the later models is pretty crude. Great to see kids playing with fire too.
