this sounds to me like the Bee*R rev-limiter/power builder. Works VERY similar to anti-lag for those haters out there, but is better for the car. I have the same thing on my IX.

@OMGCHOLESTROLL it keeps the turbo spinning so the boost stays up when rpms drop. Also wears out the turbocharger.

@OMGCHOLESTROLL It retards the timing of the engine so the exhaust valve opens right after the combustion occurs so the exhaust is moving extremely fast and is very powerfully, so it spools the turbo even when the engine is not spooling the turbo so you're always on boost and have power
