@Thinkitis I think the big difference is using the KS humbuckers with JD's circuitry. Are those KS pups or JD pups ?

Did you leave it this way or did you put it back ? it sounds good but the original Smith electonics is the best to me .

Hey,
I kept them in there. I have a few KS's and this was the oldest one with Ken's first set of pickups and electronics. The JD have a lot fuller sound. The new KS's are killer. I have some of the new one's in my other basses.
